Description

This restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences, showcasing both delightful and disappointing culinary moments. Diners rave about the exceptional gluten-free options, generous portions, and attentive service, particularly praising the chips and unique warm salsa. While some menu items, like stale tacos and small soup servings, fell flat for a few patrons, others enjoyed substantial platters and flavorful dishes such as the Brisket Quesadilla. With reasonable prices and a charming ambiance, many guests express a willingness to return, hoping for a consistently enjoyable dining experience amidst the occasional hiccup.

When I was rolling my silverware, I noticed something green and dried on the end of my fork. One would think that whoever rolls the cutlery would check for such things. It was concerning; the person doing it must have poor eyesight. I ordered the three crispy tacos to share with my mother, along with a plate of rice and a small bean soup. Rhonda pointed out that this section of the menu was half price that day, and it's clear why! The taco shells were stale, so I ended up mixing everything from my bowls—the rice, good chips, and salsa—to create a taco salad, which was better. However, I didn't care for the warm salsa at all. The bean soup was decent but I should have asked for a bowl instead of having it served in a small cup. My mother didn't enjoy anything except the chips. I really hope this was just a bad day for them.

We went at dinnertime on a Saturday and were sat down immediately. The kids plates are a very generous amount especially the kid's quesadilla plate. My wife and I both got platillos which were delicious and had some left over. The two kinds of salsa are both good in their own way. My favorite was the warm salsa. It's a little more expensive than your typical Mexican restaurant but we took food home which we usually don't do.

My husband and I visited this restaurant, and we're so glad we did. They offer a fantastic selection of gluten-free options that both adults and children will enjoy. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. The waitstaff worked diligently and supported one another. We give it a full five stars!

The meal was really enjoyable. The server was extremely well mannered and courteous. Ordered from the lunch menu. The food temperature from the chips to entrees was very good; food stayed warm throughout meal. The portions were plentiful and reasonably priced, as well. The decor is fitting but a bit dated.
