Los Bravos Bakery - Springfield
Los Bravos Bakery
Description
Once a reliable neighborhood Spanish eatery, this spot now divides opinion. After ownership changes the menu shows uneven quality — standout soups and sandwiches sit alongside overcooked, overly salty fritters and reports of plastic contamination. Service can be slow and staff language may be a barrier. Prices have risen, though the broad selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and some fresh traditional dishes still draw regulars. Guests should check prices and timing before ordering.

Very expensive lately.. Ask for prices before you order. Flavore changed.. Not sure if ownership change but.. ..15 for like 8 pieces of carrucho look how big is plate.
They are not enough words to describe how much I love their food. When I first discovered her, I went three times a week. And her smoothies, only WOW.
When they first started they were good but through out the years it kept changing hands and the food was inconsistent, they tend to over cook the fritters “fritura” especially the alcapurias they are black I’ve had plastic mixed in with the alcapuria I gues it’s because they throw it in the fryer wrapped in the plastic they are salty and inconsistent, one time I ordered 8 of them and we had to throw them out because we couldn’t resist the salt. Also their ratio of food doesn’t match their price.
