Contribute Feedback What Jonathan Reyman doesn't like about Kfc:
Went in for lunch. Ordered a fried chicken sandwich and a drink. The total was $9.42. I handed the counter person $10.00. She told me they accept only exact change and credit cards. I said that if others had paid with exact change, she must have 58 centsin the drawer. She replied that exact change was required. I canceled my order, left, and won't be back. Ridiculous policy. The parking lot is chaotic and feels neglected. The ordering kiosk is partly broken, and the prices shown are misleading. What’s advertised as a five-dollar meal actually costs $10 and only includes one chicken breast, a small serving of tasteless mashed potatoes, a drink, and a packaged cookie. While the chicken was decent, there are many other places that offer two pieces of chicken with a complete meal for just $6 instead of $10. I won't be coming back to KFC.
I have repeatedly faced disappointing service at this restaurant. The service is consistently slow, and the staff doesn't seem very welcoming. In my last three visits, I've been told they were out of chicken for the famous bowl—which is quite ironic since chicken is a key ingredient in the dish. If they're running low, they should be resourceful enough to offer a substitute, like using cut-up tenders, to keep customers satisfied. Although I really enjoy their fries, they often arrive overcooked, cold, or clearly stale from sitting too long at this location. Overall, I feel quite frustrated because all I wanted was a decent meal.
I visited the restaurant for lunch and ordered a fried chicken sandwich and a drink, which came to a total of $9.42. I handed the cashier a $10 bill, but she informed me that they only accept exact change or credit cards. I mentioned that if other customers were able to pay with exact change, there should be 58 cents in the register. Nevertheless, she remained firm on the policy and insisted that only exact change would be accepted. Frustrated, I decided to cancel my order and leave, and I won't be returning. I believe this policy is completely unreasonable.
I regret to report that this KFC location is not in good condition. It was once one of my favorite places, but I won’t be going back. If you're craving overcooked chicken from a dirty kitchen and are fine with paying $50 for 12 pieces along with slow service, then this is the place for you.
I prefer not to write negative reviews, but I've experienced issues at all three KFC locations in Springfield multiple times.
