The restaurant is packed with pe... read more I ordered from the IHOP website at 8:40 PM, and it’s now 9:50 PM. They’ve told us twice that they are still preparing our food. The restaurant is packed with people waiting to pick up their orders or to be seated, yet no one seems to be managing the situation. We decided to order through their website hoping for a better experience, since our previous DoorDash orders have been both late and incorrect. It’s become clear that the problem lies with this particular location, not DoorDash. They currently have only one cook and two to three servers, which is understandable given the staffing issues many places face. However, being rude and completely ignoring customers is not acceptable. They even called to ask if we still wanted our food, stating that they hadn’t even started cooking it yet. I understand that they might be busy, but orders should be handled in the order they are received; no one order should be prioritized over another.

However, we were seated near the path to the bathroom and right in the middle of the waitstaff's route, which made it a bit challenging for both our group and people passing by, especially since one of our party members uses a wheelchair and has a service dog. As for the cheesecake pancake, it didn’t quite deliver on the cheesecake flavor; it seemed like the topping was meant to taste like cheesecake but fell short. On the bright side, the pancakes themselves were enjoyable. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, which added to the positive experience.

My wife had sausage and eggs with biscuits and gravy, but unfortunately, the biscuits and gravy were quite disappointing. So, I guess it’s not wise to expect great biscuits at a pancake place. Our granddaughter was the happiest among us, as she ordered two chocolate chip pancakes, which were actually the main reason we came to this restaurant. I have to admit, the pancakes were pretty good!

I think there might have been at least one other server, but I can't... read more The server appeared to be overwhelmed during our visit mid-morning on our way out of town. I think there might have been at least one other server, but I can't be certain since we were packed into a small room surrounded by other tables full of customers. Given the number of diners and the sight of one server, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service. The food met my expectations for the IHOP chain.

The food arrived hot and tasty, just as we expected! Although the waiting area was busy, it only shows that this place is very popular.
