Went for a late lunch today, a beautiful crisp Friday afternoon in February, the outdoor seating was pretty awesome with those heaters above comfy outdoor booths, and the food was surprisingly good. We have never stopped here before because of the "bar "look, nothing against bars, just not our usual as my husband and I don 't drink. They made excellent burgers that were almost ahalf pound of beef (7oz patties). My son got their bacon bleu burger with loaded tots, and my husband got a cheeseburger withonion rings, both said everything was fantastic. My grilled chicken cobb was very impressive, I got a shirley temple to drink, and the only reason it got knocked a star was because their blue cheese dressing was really bad. I like a creamy Marie 's typeand this tasted very much like a Kraft. The service was friendly and perfect as well, and I would definitely recommend foranyone looking for a convenient stop in Springfield. I 'll be going again (and ordering ranch, lol).
Fun place. We have been going here since they opened. Love the avocado bites and the wings. Every single time, the food is spot on. 3/4 of the time, the waitstaff is good. Sometimes a bit forgetful. Bonus: firetables outside. Great Covid addition.
We’ve visited this restaurant for dinner twice now, and both times the food was just average—nothing remarkable. The fries were bland and lacked salt, and the tortilla chips that accompanied my burger were stale. As for the drinks, they tasted like cleaning fluid. I ended up paying for a $10 drink that I didn’t even touch, which I should have refused to pay for. If I had been the server and noticed the drink hadn't been touched, I would have at least asked how it was or if there was something else the customer would prefer. The waitress looked at the drink four times during our meal, sitting on the edge of the table next to our used dishes, but she didn’t check to see if I liked it or suggest an alternative. To me, that’s poor service. With lackluster food and unpalatable drinks, we won’t be returning.
The food is decent, but I've had some issues with their takeout and delivery. They tend to replace items with completely different dishes or send them in a messy way. For example, I ordered eggs Benedict with pork belly, but I got it upside down in a pile with soggy bacon instead of the pork. Another time, I received french fries when I ordered cheese curds. It's just a bit disappointing.
I had a great experience at this restaurant, where the friendly service even extended to my dog, who was given a large stainless steel bowl of cold water on a hot day. The food was served hot and was delicious, especially the unique dipping sauce, which had a nice bit of spice to it. The only reason I didn’t give a full five stars is that the prices were on the higher side—with appetizers averaging around $14 each and entrées close to $20. While the food was excellent, the portion sizes felt a bit small, and the well drinks were a bit weak. Overall, it's a nice, casual place with a relaxed atmosphere.
