Make sure you know the GC procedure for eating there. Long wait in line after you have paid. No notification on why you are waiting. Make sure you keep your receipt with you as they need your papers to seat you. Broken door on exit almost caused an injury. Very close call. Dirty plates, good food, and so so service. Even though the restaurant was busy the staff was fast to clean after each customer. The restroom was also clean. Good experience at Golden Correll
The food was great, but don 't expect much from the wait staff. The cashier was also our waitress...I have a feeling they are understaffed, but it was during an off period and not super busy. We were a party of 11, so we overheard the first person that saw us coming in the door mutter I 'm not taking them. We only had someone check our table for refills once, and she only grabbed them for half the table. We had to grab a different waitress to get the correct drinks to begin with. Hopefully they got a tip through the check, because this is the first time I 've ever walked away from a table not caring if they were tipped or not, and we are normally really great tippers, especially the one who paid yesterday. But the food was fresh, kept full, and delicious. Kudos to the kitchen staff.
Will never be able to find a bad thing to say about this place. If in Springfield it is definitely the GO TO . Nothing beats the chicken or steaks but the hamburgers are definitely something to stop in for. The wait staff is always friendly and will be a big reason I continue to come back. Everything is always so clean and fresh! Thank you for quality service everytime!Parking: Plenty of parking, and even if it looks packed from the outside, still come in! There 's plenty of seating. Wheelchair accessibility: Might have to bring someone to help with the doors but once inside it 's a smooth ride. Easily navigate around the food buffet.
Loved the food out here. Great atmosphere!!! Small restrooms. Great employees!!! Great service!!!
