I've never had anything bad here. Good portion sizes and decent prices. I love the super fajita nachos and margarita pitchers. They've got nice decor and neat carved tables. If you're a tv dinner, Mexican villa kind, you probably won't care for this place. View all feedback.
What Reid Leannon doesn't like about El Puente:
Not the best Mexican food we had. The service was slow.. But I'll give them a pass about it on the basis of personal questions. But the food wasn't good. Much better Mexican restorers in Springfield than that. Don't waste your money and your time. View all feedback.
Not sure why this place has a 4.2 rating. It's really good. We moved from New Mexico and went to any Mexican spot in Springfield and this is safe in our top three. Sebastian Tacos and the Fajitas are the bomb!
El Puente is probably one of the most authentic sit in restaurants here in Springfield! The food is always delicious and staff speedy and pleasant! The Chori pollo is probably my favorite dish! Love it!
If you want the most mediocre Mexican culinary experience, you can imagine this place for you. Prices reflect a restaurant where the food actually has taste. Don't be stupid, it's certainly not. Most of the food I ate sometime. The service was also quite terrible. We waited for 7 to 8 minutes when there were at least 12 empty tables that were clean.
They were here six times, Taco's, Steak Strip Burritos and Steak Fajita's. All were amazing! also try their cheese diving.
