Eating was okay, honestly, it lacked taste. However, the price was great and the waitress was very friendly. Probably not back.

Food was fantastic!!! Service was excellent! Had the Mocajete very great meal! My wife and I shared it and still brought leftovers home. Our waiter Juliano was very friendly, provisional and efficient. Absolutely back!
My family went to El Maguey on a Wednesday. Margaritas were only $2.50 and the street taco platters were $2 off. Both were delicious! We each tried something different and we were all happy with the results. The chips were warm and obviously made in house. The salsa was the best I've had; slightly sweet with just the right amount of heat. Our server did an amazing job and was funny too. We loved the ambience and will be coming back often.
The place was honestly pretty nice, the food was pretty okay though. The only problem was it was just wee bit bland. BUT the salsa is really good. (and if you like spicy stuff I suggest you mix the spicy sauce with the salsa, it's delicious. But overall I liked it. pretty good.
