Description

This neighborhood Dunkin' delivers standout, often-fresh donuts and seasonal drinks with convenient parking and mobile ordering, but experiences sharp inconsistency. Clean, friendly service and perfect orders coexist with understaffing, slow drive‑thru lines, order mistakes, and occasional cleanliness and temperature issues. The casual, slightly dated interior makes it a handy stop for commuters and donut lovers, but expect variability until operations and staffing improve.

I want to thank the Dunkin' on Backlick Road for consistently getting my order right. You never overcook my egg and cheese, and my coffee is always perfect. I truly appreciate your efforts. I've been making the drive to this Dunkin' for seven years, but the one closer to me in Lorton has really let me down.

If you're in the mood for donuts and caffeine, be sure to stop by here. Dunkin' Donuts has introduced a new drink called the Mango Pineapple Refreshers! It was so refreshing after just one sip. We should definitely try it before summer ends—I only wish it were available year-round instead of just for the season!

The donuts are fantastic—super fresh and delicious. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Parking is excellent; it's easy to get in and out of the lot. The store is spotless. The only downside is that the decor feels a bit outdated; it looks like it hasn't been refreshed since the Reagan era.

To start, the coffee was disappointing—it tasted burnt and was only lukewarm, far from the hot, fresh brew I had anticipated. It felt like it had been sitting out for quite a while. As for my plain bagel, it was stale and chewy, as if it had been made the day before, and the cream cheese packet was nearly at room temperature. I also ordered a couple of their renowned donuts, hoping they would be the highlight of my meal. Unfortunately, I was let down once again. The donuts were dry and lacked the fresh, warm flavor that Dunkin’ Donuts is known for. The glaze on one of them was hard and cracked, instead of having the melt-in-your-mouth quality I expected. On top of all that, the service was lackluster. The staff seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged me, making me feel more like a nuisance than a valued customer. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but the combination of poor food quality and indifferent service made my visit to this Dunkin’ Donuts in Springfield forgettable. I hope they can improve in the future, but for now, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

The building looked new but the bathroom was dirty and there were flies in the donut area. Actually on the donuts. The owner should hire more staff and spend more time at the shop to oversee these short comings. The drive through is always ridiculously slow.
