If you tell them it's your 1st time there they will load everything up really heavy. 1st impressions, I assume, but more like false advertising. The 1st time I went kind of set the standard for what I was expecting in my future bowls. They say they have standard set amounts on each item they put in your bowl but I've been 3 times now and each bowl I received was quite different in the amount given. It was definitely worth the cost the 1st time I went. Not so much the next 2 times.

I was really looking forwa... read more I’ve been feeling very unwell recently, so I don’t want to go into too much detail, but this is the sickest I’ve been in a long time. I was really looking forward to having poke again since I used to eat it regularly in California, and I was excited to find this place. The flavor was okay, but the protein portion was very small—only six pieces—so it was mostly rice. That’s where the issue lies. Unlike a typical poke spot, the standard serving didn’t include much protein, and I had to pay an extra $6 for more, which was more than I expected. Not wanting to waste food, I ate it all, even though I probably shouldn’t have. Next time, I think I’ll just let it go to waste. From what I’ve seen in other reviews, most people don’t have any problems here, so I believe my experience was unusual. Still, if you’re used to poke elsewhere, be aware that the portion sizes might leave you disappointed. Basically, you’re paying $12 for a bowl that’s mostly rice. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
