I think this place is a must in Springfield, MO. They have good staff that are always friendly and helpful. They also have a great menu, every time I go I get the seafood beignets. The beignets are pretty big and they come with blueberry ketchup that is delicious. This past time I went I got the Bacon and Date Salad and I would highly recommend. This place is okay but way too pricey for generic bar food. Our family of four split 2 meals and had an appetizer with a couple of beers and it was over $80. The kids mac n cheese was basic. No sides. The falafel wrap was okay, kinda bland. The kale chipswere soggy. The bruschetta was good. Beers were fine. Our server was okay. I don?t think I?ll be back due to all of this. Great beer selection, fun cocktails and an eclectic menu make this the place to be downtown. People watching on the east side, upstairs and down is unparalleled.

We spent the weekend in Springfield and went to Civil for lunch. Austin our server took great care of us and made recommendations that were great choices for us. The atmosphere was relaxed not rushed and Austin was friendly and took time to talk with us. Thank you for the great afternoon.
Fantastic place. Have had great interactions with a Nickles, Logan, Taylor, Libby, Megan, Cadence, Brooke, Austin, Casey and Zack. Would highly recommend. 14/10 would suggest the prime rib or fish sandwich.
