Looking f... read more Today was a visit in 1636 north like no other. my family and I were looking for a nice culinary experience for the aic university graduation ceremony. Looking for google and exploiting several other options we have decided to go to 1636 north. at the arrival we saw an empty restaurant with a worker who participated in the house. we demanded a table for 5 and were out of the ground that they were fully booked with previous reservations and if we wanted one table, we need to make a reservation for another day. sadly disappointed? we drove to the Mexican restaurant over the street where we sat in the bar area with views of 1636 norths. After finishing our meal in the Mexican restaurant, I decided to go back to 1636 north because I noticed that lack of activity as they claimed to have been fully booked. when looking into the facility I noticed that the restaurant had a table with 2 customers. I was kindly wondering if the white man who would sit if they were happy, a reservation as the restaurant was as empty as my first visit. they answered kindly no, we just came in astonished from this, I began to ask why my family and I were discriminated and what the other customers were asking differently than ours. Of course, I was told that I should go from the employee who is the picture. if they think about eating here, please do not support this business that is obviously discriminated against people of color. it is a scandal to see that in 2022 we are still faced with problems from the jim crowd period. what is eating when their practices towards customers of color are that disgusting?

I love the liberal use of truffle throughout the menu. I had the lamb and my server informed me it's only cooked all the way thru, no way to order mid-rare but suggested I get it anyway if I like lamb. Boy was she right. The marinade did that meat right! Very juicy and tender. Salmon cooked to perfection. Lovely plating technique. We'll be back to try more food!

This place is truly a 10/10. The staff. The atmosphere. And let’s talk about the food ??? they didn’t miss a beat when it came to flavor and presentation. I’m from out of town and will 100% be back. The brunch we had chicken and waffles and also shrimp and waffles with loaded scrambled eggs and loaded potatoes. Will forever recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to come back for dinner. Small inside so call for reservation if needed. But it’s a total vibe.

It was a Monday night and we wer... read more Perfect evening with outstanding food! I had my 2 bosses fly in and brought them here for dinner. I didn't know what to expect. It was a Monday night and we were treated to a wonderful evening of food. We told the chef to just serve whatever herecommended and he did not disappoint! Oysters, calamari, Mac n cheese, asparagus, lamb chops, Jamaican chicken, Cajun shrimp,salmon, some fettuccini that was to die for... everything was AMAZING. The BYOB is a nice touch too. If you live in the areayou should definitely check this place out and support a small local restaurant trying to make Springfield a more interestingplace. I will be back.

My friend and I randomly went to try it out, we did not have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us anyway which wasgreatly appreciated! We got the mac and cheese, lamb chops w truffle fries, and the jerk chicken alfredo. Everything was superdelicious, no complaints whats so ever!!!!!! Compliments to the chef and the whole team! The music being played was also a greataddition, the vibe was simply unmatched. If you?re thinking ab trying this place out, THIS IS YOUR SIGN!!!
