Was Anonym at Thai On First a mag?
I absolutely love this place! I can't believe it's not always crowded; there should be a line out the door. I have been addicted to their panang chicken for ten years; it's absolutely amazing. However, the decor could be better, and I wish they had longer hours. If I ever met the owners, I would simply say thank you. Thank you. What Anonym dislikes about Thai On First:
The authenticity of the food could some improvement. The pad see eew might be better served with khanna (Thai kale) instead of broccoli, and with a bit thicker sauce. View all feedback.
We absolutely loved the curry and the pad thai at this restaurant! The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly kind!
I drove to this restaurant, paid for parking, and saw a sign on the door saying take out only. How disappointing.
Thai On First is by far the most authentic and delicious Thai restaurant in Spokane, possibly the northwest. Highly recommend their Tom Kah Gai, no other restaurant even compares to their recipe. But really I haven't had a bad thing on their menu. I've been coming here for the last twenty years, and the day they close their doors will be a very sad day indeed.
I ordered a pick-up order of tofu PadThai by phone. When I got to the restaurant they didn't have knowledge of who I was, but it was cooked quickly on the spot. A somewhat disappointing dish was presented. A large mass of thrown-together noodles. soggy tofu, and little else to say positive about this dish. I'm on a road trip and have ordered PadThai throughout Montana, Idaho, and now Washington State. This was the least tasty one. Other Thai restaurants in the region are cooking and presenting PadThai better.
