The meal I had showcased an excellent variety of fine Alabama-inspired cooking, the best I've had in years. The greens, tomatoes, sauce, slaw, and potatoes were absolutely delicious! The meats were tender, and the pulled pork ribs were cooked to perfection. I couldn't help but make noise as I enjoyed every bite! The atmosphere is truly welcoming; Mike, along with his family and friends, honors the Kingdom of Christ Jesus with their cooking. Their soul food is so much more than just chopped meat—it's a delightful experience for all the senses. This is a wonderful establishment on 5th Ave, and I highly recommend it! You'll love it.

Mr. Brown, THANK YOU! I haven?t had collard greens that goodsince my last trip through Atlanta GA, and that?s a fact! Those beans and rice? absolutely perfect! My mouth was convinced thatI was having lunch in Nawlins! For a minute, as I shut my eyes, I could almost smell the bayou. I?m literally so happy I?mfighting back tears. Such a great blessing to meet you and also learn about the good work you do for our community and ourkids. Ladies and gentlemen please, you must get some refreshment for your souls.
