El Que - Spokane
El Que
Description
Nestled in Spokane, this cozy restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by an impressive variety of tequila and delectable Mexican dishes. Guests rave about the spicy shrimp tacos and unique cocktails, with highlights including the popular beet margarita. However, recent experiences have shown inconsistency in service, with some patrons reporting a lack of attentiveness and friendliness from staff. While many appreciate the quick service and intimate setting, with seating for only about 20 people, a few have encountered frustrating interactions that overshadowed their dining experience. Overall, it remains a popular spot for those seeking flavorful cuisine and vibrant drinks.

The bartender was amazing! The fish, chicken, and pork tacos were incredibly delicious. Each of the three tacos was served with flavorful beans and rice. I also tasted the banana-wrapped tamales, which were very enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back!
These are likely the most delicious tacos and quesadillas I've ever had. The drinks were amazing, and every bite was a delight. Coming from Florida, I can honestly say nothing compares to the authenticity and flavor here. You can definitely expect to see me back often! (Sadly, I finished the food before I had a chance to take a photo.)
During this visit, I chose to try a new restaurant and went for the wet burrito. I should clarify that I'm one of those people who tastes soap whenever cilantro touches my mouth. That being said, I still found the dish quite enjoyable, despite the lingering aftertaste. I highly recommend this meal, especially to those who enjoy cilantro. Unfortunately, I didn't sample any of their drink options this time, but it seems they have a solid selection of both popular and lesser-known tequilas. I’m looking forward to returning to this cozy spot, ideally when the weather is cooler so we can take advantage of the outdoor seating.
My friends and I were excited to try El Que after reading the reviews. The decor instantly took me back to my hometown in Mexico, like having a drink at the local bar. Unfortunately, our server was very unfriendly and never even smiled. Despite enjoying our drinks, we chose to leave because we felt unwelcome and ignored. It became even clearer when we heard her being warm and attentive to the table next to us.
