While some menu items may be hit or miss, overall, the experience is enjoyable. Friendly servers like Lauren and Shane ensure that orders are accurate and timely. The recent remodel gives the restaurant a fresh look, and customers appreciate the clean, welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, a few reviewers have encountered food quality issues, like rubbery crepes and overcooked eggs. It's a Sunday, so I anticipated it might be a bit busy, especially since it was already 1:00 PM. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated, and then it took at least 45 minutes for our drink order to be taken. The host eventually took our drink order, and we received our drinks 15 minutes later. Our server came to our table only three times: to deliver our drinks, take our food order, and bring two kids' plates. I ordered the country fried steak, but we never received the toast that was supposed to accompany it. The food tasted like a banquet TV dinner—very plain and bland. We didn’t get any drink refills either. By the time we left, the restaurant was empty, which is no excuse for the poor service we experienced. The manager didn’t even come out to address our concerns. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for over six years, I found this experience very disappointing, especially given my usual understanding of busy Sundays. I wouldn't recommend this place; IHOP would be a better choice. We didn't leave until 2:30 PM, which was ridiculous.
I called to inquire about the menu and pricing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. They were very helpful! Regarding vegetarian options, they offered to substitute meat with vegetable alternatives.
I regret to say this, and I hope it's just a one-time experience, but my recent visit to Denny's was disappointing. We ordered the Moon's Over Miami and the Grand Slamwich, which are usually very good and well-prepared. However, this time, the sandwiches had extremely thin slices of ham, with only three piled in the center, and a meager portion of eggs. This was quite unusual for this establishment. The side of red potatoes was unseasoned and looked like they had been freezer-burned, which is also not typical of their usual offerings. I know you can do better, Denny's!
