One of my favorite restaurants in Speyer and although I here several times and reviewed the restaurant only 8 months back I feel compelled to provide an update as this restaurant is a hidden oasis in Speyer. Tonight I had the seasonal HirschGulasch (deer meat) with red cabbage and late zle (egg noodle). This dish is amazing and the meat is so tender. We started with flaky cake, which is a local dish that resembles very thin pizza, but is a much lighter and is baked with cheese and vegetables or cheese and ham. There are really good local red and white wines available to accompany your dinner. Overall, the service is excellent and the setting is ideal for a business meeting or couples. In summer, the outdoor tables are ideal for a nice cool evening.
