Marioochi’s Pizzeria On The Square

The food at this restaurant is always excellent! Our favorite pizza is the Meat Me, and the salads are always fresh and delicious. The hardest part is choosing between dessert options like Cannoli or Hunky Dory Chocolate cake, both of which are delicious! The staff is always friendly as well. We dined in for dinner.

The pizza and garlic knots at this restaurant were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and felt that it was worth the drive from Fairfield Glade. The service was good, although not exceptional. We had a lunch meal and the price per person was between $20-30. We rated the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5. We highly recommend trying the Hot Honey and Garlic Knots dishes.

We attempted to dine at this restaurant twice. The first time it was closed for road construction, which was not their fault. The second time was during the week when we were looking for some pizza for dinner. We are from out of town and followed Google's recommendation to this place. When we arrived, we were greeted by two young women and requested a table, only to be told we could only sit at the bar. The bar had only two seats, both at the end - one against the wall and the other next to a stranger. The bar stools were uncomfortable and we had been hiking all day, so we asked if we could sit at a table with chairs. We were told we would have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table even though more than half of the restaurant was empty. Frustrated, we decided to leave and find another place to eat.

We loved everything about our visit: service, vibe, locale and riculously amazing Italian food. There's a reason there's a wait.. we were glad we stayed. We had the Big Cheese with pancetta, rosemary garlic wings and house salad with creamy balsamic. Joy was our server and was great. Loved the atmosphere and the fun staff who let my husband take their picture. One was throwing pizza dough and it's so great to see it done the old fashioned way these days!
