It definitely has the look of a classic roadside snack joint, almost has a seaside vibe. The staff person who took my order was friendly, but the food pickup experience was unpleasant… having a dedicated pickup counter and a perhaps a microphone&speaker to call when one’s order is ready would make it way better.And the food— we had regular poutine, 1pc haddock fish&chips, and a couple of cans of pop: $40 once taxes and tip were added in. This is more expensive than average. I also wouldn’t consider it good value, because the gravy— while tasty— is a translucent gelatinous greenish-yellow, the fries with the fish were almost certainly reheated, and the fish itself was one of those squared-off portions that looks like it came from a supermarket freezer.If you’re stopping for a decently-priced, generously portioned ice cream on a sunny day, you can’t go wrong. If you’re looking for a reasonable-value lunch… I don’t recommend.
