The Dragonfly is two doors down from the Massey Hotel. Opened 11 am to 8 pm. Closed on Monday. Food was flavorful.

My partner and I were travelling from Sudbury to Sault Ste. Marie with our dog and suprised at how challenging it was to find something we could grab for dinner while we were driving that didn't come from a franchise like Subway and minimally had some fresh vegetables. The Dragonfly had mixed reviews and we couldn't find a menu online but decided to pop in as we were passing by as we couldn't come up with a better option. I got a veggie wrap which had cooked vegetables, feta cheese and a delicious sauce. A bit soggy but overall the type of meal I was looking for. I was planning to get a garden salad but the waitress (who was very plesant) suggested the fries were very good, and so I got them instead which I regret. Nothing special, and they melted the container they were packaged in such that they tasted a bit like Styrofoam. Needless to say I didn't eat them. Overall I decent choice for the area, especially if you're looking for a meal on the go.

Stopped for dinner... Awesome Burger! Exceptional Ceasar salad! And more! Generous portions. Reasonable prices. Leave room for dessert fried cheesecake or ice cream natchos! We've been back and will be back again. One to remember on #17.

After searching for an open restaurant along the road, we ended up by default at The Dragonfly in Massey. What a pleasant surprise. I ordered the lamb, but was skeptical about what I'd get for only $18. Three perfectly cooked loin chops with good mint sauce, wild rice and a generous amount of veggies (just slightly overcooked) erased my doubt. My husband was very impressed with his jambalaya commenting on how much was in it (shrimp, sausage and chicken) and that it was picture perfect and perfectly spiced. My daughter enjoyed her BBQ chicken on a bun. The server was attentive and pleasant. Sadly, we were one of only two tables of customers. This restaurant deserves to survive in this time of Covid.
