The pasta was well cooked, and the portion was reasonably sized. I missed the egg yolk on top, but maybe that’s not the Sicilian style. I was a bit bothered that the waitress seemed to look down on me as a customer. I don’t speak Italian, and she doesn’t speak English, which is fine. But going to the pizza maker to gossip about how stupid my question was... She is young and might not realize that people notice what’s happening, but that’s not okay behavior. A customer should be treated well and respected, regardless of personal opinions. But maybe that’s a Sicilian style. Maybe they see themselves as better than others. Apparently, they laugh at customers in general, from what I’ve observed. I do not recommend this place. She took away my plate without asking if the food was good or if I wanted to see the dessert menu. She did, however, ask the table next to me… Italie: Si riferisce al ristorante Sicilia mon amour . La carbonara era buona ma molto salata, forse vecchia. La pasta era ben cotta e la porzione di dimensioni adeguate. Mi è mancato il tuorlo d’uovo sopra, ma forse non è lo stile siciliano. Mi ha un po’ infastidito il fatto che la cameriera sembrasse guardarmi dall’alto in basso come cliente. Io non parlo italiano e lei non parla inglese, il che va bene. Ma andare dal pizzaiolo a spettegolare su quanto fosse stupida la mia domanda... È giovane e forse non si rende conto che la gente vede cosa succede, ma questo comportamento non è accettabile. Un cliente dovrebbe essere trattato bene e rispettato, indipendentemente dalle opinioni personali. Ma forse questo è uno stile siciliano. Forse si sentono superiori agli altri. A quanto pare, ridono dei clienti in generale, da quello che ho visto. Non lo consiglio. Ha portato via il piatto senza chiedere se fosse buono o se volessi vedere il menu dei dolci. Però lo ha chiesto al tavolo accanto…

La pizza è ottima, il gelato di più! Servizio buono e i prezzi pure. C'è tanto spazio per qualsiasi occasione!

However I loved the atmosph... read more On one hand I loved the place, on the other I detested it. Screaming neon lights and pizzas with wurstel are normally a big turnoff. However I loved the atmosphere: Sitting with the locals and listning to their children screaming, childrens parties, soil myself with an oversized pizza I wouldn't come back for a romantic candlelight diner. The neon lights outside actually gave that away.
