What Angethehappycow dislikes about Engine:
There were many vegan options available on the tapas small plates menu. However, none of them provided a significant source of protein. I ended up asking if their seabass and butterbean dish could be made vegan without the fish, so I could have some beans for protein. They happily accommodated my request, for which I was grateful. There were many vegan options available on the tapas small plates menu. However, none of them provided a significant source of protein. I ended up asking if their seabass and butterbean dish could be made vegan without the fish, so I could have some beans for protein. They happily accommodated my request, for which I was grateful. It would be nice if they had considered adding more protein options to the menu. Dining here is a special treat, as it is quite expensive and reservations are necessary (evenings are usually fully booked weeks in advance). Despite this, the food was delicious, including the dessert, and the service was excellent. I would return for a special occasion or romantic meal.

Absolutely beautifully decorated, attentive staff and a huge amount of labelled options that are vegan or can be made vegan.

Very popular tapas restaurant which was extremely busy however service was super quick and the food amazing. Will definitely be back for more !!
A beautiful place with a beautiful selection of vegan options. The waiting staff also offered vegan options that were not on the menu, as well as a dessert that was not on the menu, so it is worth asking. The food was fantastic. You need to book in advance.
