The Honeypot - South Lakeland

An excellent choice of local and not so local cheese. A lovely shop with really helpful staff stocking lots of deli items. Support local businesses.

My folks live in Far Sawrey and we often come to Hawkshead as the nearest shopping centre to where they live. The Honeypot is a must visit destination for delicious local treats. Recently bought my stepfather a bottle of lakeland gin. I love their special gingerbread, and special cheese counter. Last time I went with my mum and sat outside on the little table and chairs savouring some delicious ice cream My stepfather also raves about the rhubarb and ginger preserve his new favourite. Overall quality stuff and for such a little shop has great variety.

Real lakeland charm and lots of delicious and interesting products. I love the wide variety cheese and the sausages they sell are amazing . Also a great selection of lakes Gins and spirits.

Popped in for some quick lunch, sat outside and served with freshly made rolls, coffee and cake. The shop self is a delight to look around full of goodies and a large selection of quality food stuffs.

We wanted a quick snack for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed fresh, generously filled rolls and delicious coffee. We highly recommend this lovely spot if you want a light meal. The selection of speciality foods on sale is also quite remarkable, especially if you love honey which is available from suppliers across the globe.
