Seafarers - South Lakeland

I ordered the medium fish and chips for £11.25, but was disappointed to find that the fish portion was very small. The options only included small, regular, and medium sizes, so I chose the medium as it was the largest available. The chips were decent, but I have had better portions for my money at other fish and chip takeaways in Bowness.

This fish and chip shop is the closest to the holiday camp we were staying at, and it was so good that we didn't need to go anywhere else.

We ended up at this restaurant because our first three choices didn't have cod on the menu. Unfortunately, the cod dish we ordered was disappointing. It was a very small portion and the quality was not good. After reading some mixed reviews, I have to agree with the negative ones.

Underwhelmed for a second time. Been here twice once a couple of years ago, was nothing special then. Had another go last week. I had pie and chips, partner had fish and chips. I agree with some other posters that portions are small and I personally thought chips were a bit soggy. Nothing special really.

Expected a medium cod and chips but when I got home I found out it was a child size portion not happy. It shows a 4* rating… I don’t think so
