Punchbowl - South Lakeland

This pub has only a few rooms but they are luxurious and comfortable. There were a lot of small hints of local in the room. I was like a stop on a longer trip, so we chose to eat at the pub. Clearly it was popular among the locals, there were a lot of people eating. The menu was full of local food and my local food was excellent. I would definitely stay here again, as it was worthwhile moving away from the highway at a short distance. They also have a special drink from the house based on Kendal Mint.

I used to live in the area and we haven't been here for years. However my mother is still, so we thought it would be nice to make a journey through the lane of memory. It was great, the atmosphere is well designed, there was no problem finding table three even a mid-term Wednesday, when they were already comfortably occupied. The staff was friendly and efficient and the food was good pub food with quality. It also seemed to be regular to keep theme nights of local interest. Well done to everyone and keep up with the good work.

I went to this restaurant with a friend and had an amazing meal. We started with the King Prawn Kiev, which was absolutely delicious. For the main course, I had the fish and chips with all the trimmings. The fish was superb, the chunky chips were great, and the lemon mayonnaise was a delightful addition. This was the best meal I've had in a long time.

We visit here as a large group (13), including children.We feel very welcome from the beginning. The staff is very friendly.Very fun to place our orders, as you get a 10% discount if you place your order in the voice of Darth Vader boarded, Stewie Griffin or Peter Griffin.The food was excellent. Not a single fault or complaint from any of our group, we'll definitely be back.

The food was fantastic, the mint vodka was delicious, and the way my special request was handled was exceptional. If I'm ever in that area again, this would definitely be my first choice.
