where can you start with the new hospitable? cozy but spacious charming accommodation from the 16th century. a fantastic, welcoming and well maintained guest. Great local pub selling good beer. dog-friendly and always a beautiful atmosphere. Live music evenings were great in the last months! a great new addition to kendal city!
We visited the thirteen magpies. we were very welcome and we had a really nice time! the band was great as always
It's a traditional pub. The new owner has made an effort with music on Saturday night. Only popped in for one drink, the lad behind the bar was very attentive. Will go back.
I visited this restaurant for appetizers and drinks. My dining partner and I tried every dish on the menu that night (excluding one vegetarian option since we are not vegetarian) and were impressed with everything. The food was fantastic, the server was friendly and took the time to describe the dishes and share their vision for the venue. The cocktails were outstanding, and they had a diverse selection of spirits that I hadn't seen elsewhere. I will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
I visited this restaurant on two evenings and both times there was live music. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. All necessary procedures were followed for COVID-19 precautions and the drinks were very reasonably priced.
