After being closed for months, we decided to visit our local pub, Alexander's. The weather was perfect, allowing us to enjoy a great view from the outdoor seating area. The tables were spaced out appropriately for social distancing. I indulged in "Fizz Friday" with a glass of Prosecco, while my partner enjoyed an ice-cold beer. The service was exceptional, with the bar staff being friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. We felt safe with thorough COVID-19 measures in place. Despite being outside, the atmosphere was fantastic and we felt comfortable enough to stay for hours. A big shoutout to the hardworking team behind the full beer garden, especially Adam who kept the Prosecco stocked. They showcased a great selection of dishes from local suppliers like Higginsons, even though we didn't try them ourselves. It's a wonderful way to support local businesses and enjoy a lovely summer evening. Thank you, Team Alexander's!

A small group of us visited Alexanders recently, and I must say I was very impressed. a lot of space for social distancing, sanitation points and also a away system in and out of the pub. it was very busy when we came as there was...was a sunny day, but there are many outdoor seating places that is ideal to enjoy the beautiful environment. political staff, and even though it was so busy, the table service was also local and location. of what I have collected, there are no other food than local cakes and inherited, but we were not disturbed as we do not come for food, although on our next visit could be tried. will definitely be back and also recommend to family and friends

My partner and I came for food and what can I say. what a beautiful place. eating was amazing, generous portions and very tasty, and with me a vegetarian, I thought the options were brilliant. I chose the chili and it...not disappointed. the personal is fabulous. so welcoming and attentive, but they can see that they really enjoy what they do, which makes a massive difference. all in all, a cozy, welcoming facility that offers good quality, decent scrub with staff who care. thank you. Possibly the worst culinary experience I've ever had. we booked a table here for my sons. first, the waitress was not very welcome at all. we ordered our drinks, drinks total (one of our party was one. small child) only drinks were brought to our table, we were made to feel that this was our fault, but we have ordered definitiw drinks, anyway the others extra as the waitress said) drinks were brought to the table. waiting for some that were taken from our food order, we ordered the meal times, the meal times were repetitioned correctly by the waitress.... only meal times were delivered to our table, another waitress asked if there should be more, how satt waiting. my fathers and sons (the birthday boy) have never been to eat! when they finally came out (after each other end) my son was wrong, so he went back and cooked again. at this time my sister had to take out the small child, as we had waited for to supplement injuries, they cleaned the table around my father when he had eaten! they broke the bill, but when we came home, we noticed that we had been charged for a bottle sol we had never had. I will say none of us had any complaints about eating, but the service was anxious and I will not recommend back or recommend.
