The White Bear - South Croydon

I'm leaving this 5-star review to gently remind the renovation team that this is my favorite pub. You might be surprised by the history of this place and what it means to me. If you transform it into a typical modern, flashy venue for those who don’t think deeply, I will make it my mission to haunt your nightmares. Please, don’t change too much. Take good care of my beloved little spot, and I promise to love you forever. P.S. The last year was terrible. I visited once, and it broke my heart. Please don't let it happen again. xx

There’s something special about this place that we absolutely adore. Unfortunately, it has now closed and is available for rent.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. It has a truly authentic pub vibe with fantastic food. There's plenty of space to sit indoors, and when the weather is nice, they offer outdoor seating as well. Price per person: £10–20. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5. Highly recommended dish: Fish and Chips.

Overpriced food, had the pork belly roast most of it was fat. Yorkshire pudding was over cooked and beef was inedible. Waitresses are rude and customer service is awful! Chocolate brownie wasn’t nice for the price and had been microwaved. Used to go here years ago and it’s really gone down hill. Won’t be returning!!
