We recently moved to the village and decided to treat ourselves to a takeaway. I was greeted at the door with a seat and a drink offered, the staff were extremely polite. We ordered a tarka dahl, a lamb jalfrezi, and a lamb tikka passanda, and honestly... the jalfrezi was probably the best I've ever had. Ordered a biriyani , on every other time I’ve had this , my favourite dish it was served with a vegetable curry , here it was now served with a unpleasant green like soup and a cold yogurt dip .Also pricing was way too high...for this type of food . £14 for a predominantly rice dish . Best indian I had around papworth and godmanchester area. they are amazing eating, service and hospitality. they have no drowned beer, that was a cons for me, but rest was absolutely brilliant
Another wonderful meal with great service, hands down the best Indian in Cambridgeshire. Impeccable service and the flavours are just amazing! You won't be disappointed.

I regularly order from Shilpa’s and I am never disappointed. I think it is possibly the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I like that they do the classics, whilst also having extra interesting options to try. I recently tried the south Bengal fish curry...and it is now a firm favourite. Cannot recommend Shilpas enough!
Superb service, presentation and quality. Friendly staff, could not fault the experience in any way. Well worth a visit.
