However, the friendly staff and delicious fish and chips left one group satisfied. Despite a rocky start, the Monkfield Arms has rebounded with excellent food and service, receiving top marks all around. The newly renovated establishment is receiving positive feedback, making it a must-try for those looking for a quality meal at a reasonable price. The refurbished pub is now a top choice for patrons, offering a welcoming atmosphere and delicious burgers.
Good food and xmas cracker without the usual plastic did good cooktop
Eating is tasty, the prices are great, but the really amazing at this pub is the manager there (I think nicola.) she really made our visit and was very friendly. based on her and eating, we would highly recommend.

Very friendly, cheerful and attentive staff. Our party of four adults all selected the fish and chips what a great choice! The portions of fish were generous, the fish was fresh and the batter was crispy. There were more than enough chips and peas. We had checked out the dessert menu, which offers a good variety of delicious puds, but we couldn’t manage to eat any more. We’ll definitely be back!
