Passaggio Wines - Sonoma
Passaggio Wines
Description
Tucked away on Treasure Island, this small winery is a rewarding discovery for wine lovers seeking approachable prices and standout bottles—GSM, Pinot Noir and Cabernet draw frequent praise. Tastings are led by friendly, knowledgeable hosts in a relaxed, intimate setting; appointment-only hours and an off-water location make it a pleasant detour. However, while many guests commend the warm, accommodating service, there are troubling accounts of aggressive behavior from an owner that prospective visitors should consider.

Had the pleasure of visiting Treasure Island wines today, April 26th, 2021. We popped our head in the open door to see if they open. They were but it was appointment only. NO WORRIES MATE. Danny was so welcoming he invited us to sit outside and he would accomodate a tasting for us anyway. He was exceedingly knowledgeable and took a lot of time to explain wines with us. Please go visit and ask for Danny.
Beautiful, beautiful people fantastic wines. Buy absolutely bottles to take home!
I wanna give this place minus thousands of stars. I witnessed extremely hostile, racist and aggressive behavior from the owner, James. I watched him scream at a young brown artist who had been commissioned and allowed on property to do some art work. Instead of approaching with curiosity (because he claimed to be misinformed about art happening on his lot) starts cussing out, pointing and screaming at the artist. Very unprofessional. Seems to have extreme anger issues.
Second time visiting this winery. First time I came here was a phenomenal experience with Jim. Unfortunately my first time here was his last day there. Today, myself and my other family members were greeted with a much less memorable experience due to our server. Wines are still amazing; especially the GSM. Regardless of the experience, I will try to come back for the wines. I just hope their customer service improves next time around.
