This bar has some delicious food. The Football Menu offers sample boards that come with a little of everything. It has wings, coffins, mozzarella sticks and steak egg rolls. The brussel sprouts with pork belly was okay. That's it. Over salty and calorie. The deep brownie with ice was delicious. It is good a shot during the game day View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thirsty Scholar Pub:
Came here hunger for brunch and hope to see the game. A little disappointed. Service was friendly, but very slow and not attentive. Stirred eggs were gooey and tasted like those from a bag. Pancake was burned. The only hot sauce was Buffalo wing sauce, and there was no salt on the table View all feedback.
I walked a long distance only to discover that the restaurant was closed, even though Google Maps indicated it was open.
This restaurant serves the worst wings I have ever tried. The quality of the food is on par with other options in the area. I paid $14 for only 6 tiny wings without any sides. Just take a look at the picture and try to tell me that it's worth $14 with a straight face.
I love The Thirsty, it is my favorite pub in Boston. The mussels are delicious and the steak tips are cooked perfectly to my liking. The shepherd's pie reminds me of home-cooked comfort food. The Guinness is pulled perfectly and they have a great selection of beers. The staff is always friendly and top-notch. I adore this place and hope it never changes!
The kale potstickers were amazing! Special neighborhood place with consistently good food and a serious beer menu!
Excellent neighborhood bar. Nice place to go after work. Food is good, drinks are amazing.
