Townie Bar is not the spot for Margaritas or Daiquiris. It's more about the drinks than the cocktails. The tables feel a bit worn, and the bar stools seem to have witnessed quite a few stories. View all feedback.

Initial rating: 3 stars. The dip was good and enjoyable. However, the atmosphere felt a bit worn. They had TouchTunes, which is a nice touch. Overall, it was a bit pricey for a dive bar, but I guess that's typical for Boston. View all feedback.

Unique dive bar with an awesome crowd on Friday nights. Cash-only spot.

Thanksgiving spread by the owner. Lots of great food! Great music and football.
One of the last remaining dive bars, soon to be destroyed by developers. I am heart broken. Sligo's is sheer dive perfection. Bar tenders are awesome, drinks are awesome, drinks are still reasonably priced, and the decor is the perfect mix of kitsch, old school woodwork, and do what it takes to get a couple bathrooms into a tiny a space! I love it!!
