Description

Redbones offers a unique dining experience with a mix of positives and negatives. While some guests appreciate the delicious food offerings, such as the North Carolina smoked BBQ and the unique flavor combinations sourced from local establishments, others criticize the slow and uneven service. The atmosphere of the restaurant receives high praise, with many guests enjoying the garden seating area and the friendly staff. Overall, Redbones seems to excel in providing top-notch BBQ and southern-style food, making it a must-visit spot for lovers of smoked brisket, ribs, and soul food sides.

Not as awesome as it used to be. Still, delicious BBQ, what's not to like?

One thing we weren't thrilled about were the collard greens - they were a bit soggy and lacked flavor. Also, the mac and cheese wasn't the best, so I think I'll try different sides next time. I really appreciate the neighborhood vibe of this spot, and it's wonderful to have a nearby BBQ place that serves up such delicious meat!

The pulled chicken was quite disappointing. It wasn't smoked or pulled as you might expect; it was simply pieces of chicken thighs smothered in BBQ sauce. I could easily whip this up at home in 15 minutes (and that’s without BBQ). What was even more disappointing were the collard greens. They had absolutely no flavor—no vinegar, no sugar, no salt, no pork, just plain greens cooked in water. It was truly a letdown. I recommend saving your money and dining elsewhere in the area.
