Mint Indian Eatery - Somerville
Mint Indian Eatery
Description
Nestled in Boston, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of dining experiences, especially for Indo-Chinese cuisine enthusiasts. While favorites like chicken tikka masala and chili momos delight with their original flavors and generous portions, recent service issues and food quality concerns have emerged. Complaints about slow wait times, the use of plastic containers for hot foods, and inconsistency in order accuracy create a frustrating atmosphere. Despite these setbacks, the restaurant’s welcoming ambiance and friendly staff, combined with solid dishes like chicken curry rolls and paneer tikka masala, make it a worthwhile stop for many diners seeking authentic flavors at reasonable prices.
Feedback
The chicken tikka masala used to be incredibly tasty, but recently it has been very fatty. It's a shame because the masala sauce is still delicious! It is made with all white meat, so I don't understand why it has become so fatty.
I was very disappointed because they brought all the food including hot soup in plastic containers. (anything hot put in plastic makes food poisonous). We were eating in. My food also had black hair in it. When I talked to a server he responded that it is not a fancy restaurant. However, they charge $17/entry…… seriously?
This restaurant in Boston is one of the best places to enjoy Indo-Chinese cuisine. The vegetable fried rice, noodles, and chili momos are incredibly delicious and a must-try. The portion sizes are generous and reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean and maintains high hygiene standards. The staff, especially Norbu, is friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making diners feel at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone new to the city who wants to experience great Indian food at affordable prices.
