We've loved this bakery for years, so when we got married last week, we knew we had to get a cake from Lyndell's. We were working with a budget, so we chose one of their large sheet cakes to serve 60-70 people. The price was fantastic, and the cake was even better! Growing up My mother has been getting birthday cakes from this place for years, She bought a birthday cake for one of my son's whom just turned 32 this past week and they changed their frosting, one side of the cake collapsed because the frosting was greasy and it didn't taste as good as it used to, She tossed the rest of the cake away and that was a 30 dollar cake. My favorite bakery! I've been coming here for sixteen years since I first moved to Somerville. The donuts are the best I've ever tasted. I appreciate seeing the same faces over the years, and I truly value a neighborhood business.
