When a restaurant is managed by its owners, it's not unusual to experience some drawbacks. The coffee I received at 7:06 am was stale and watery, the egg on the croissant was cold, and the iced tea had a flavor like it had been brewed the day before. They exchanged glances before the woman rudely responded, "Well, next time be sure to let us know before we start making it, okay?" I was taken aback since I had clearly communicated my request. I explained that I did mention light ice, and she retorted with an attitude, "Yeah, I didn’t hear you say that, so...". At that point, I felt very disrespected as a customer and apologized for her not hearing my initial request. Then, she went on to say that it wasn't her responsibility since she wasn't the one making the drink, implying that it was insignificant to her. I tuned her out at that point because I just wanted to get out of there. Overall, it was a terrible experience. This was only my second visit to this location, and it will likely be my last.

I had no issues with my drink, but the service was another story. Two employees were present; one took my order for a matcha iced latte with light ice and started making it, while the other, an older woman with brown/dark hair and glasses, came to the register to ring me up. As I was telling her my total, I noticed that the first worker had filled my cup with ice, so I reiterated that I wanted light ice. The two looked at each other, then back at me, and the woman responded very rudely, saying, “Next time, make sure to let us know before we start making it, okay?” However, I had already communicated my preference! I reminded her that I had mentioned light ice, and she replied, with an attitude, “Yes, I didn’t hear that.” At that moment, I felt disrespected and uncomfortable as a customer. I even apologized to her for not speaking clearly, and then she went on about how she isn’t the one who makes the drinks anyway, implying that it wasn’t important to her. I really stopped listening at that point, as all I wanted was to be finished with the interaction. It was a terrible experience; this was only my second time visiting this place, and it will likely be my last.

Just got back with an online order. As usual, I did not get the donut I ordered. This happens every single time but the worst today was an ice cold latte. Coffee is old and cold as if from fridge. And whats with the emoyees constantly running out to the back of the store for supplies. No gloves, right back to fixing the food. I'm done with this place and the nasty lady who own it! Disgusting!
