Excellent cocktail bar, great service and bartenders, and fantastic food from the kitchen that is shared with the nextdoor restaurant. Will definitely be back, one of the top couple of craft cocktail bars in the Boston area that I've been to
A breath of fresh air! From the vibes, to the service, to the drinks, everything was outstanding. Such a chill but interesting atmosphere with delicious cocktails. Highly recommend getting a dirty martini here. Will be back!
Such a great hidden gem. All the staff members are very knowledgeable about cocktails, so if you describe what you're looking for they'll make something special for you.
Backbar is my absolute favorite craft cocktail spot in the Boston area. We come here about once a month and I love that the cocktail menu changes frequently, with fun, creative themes. The service is always fantastic and the drinks are incredible. The atmosphere is fun and lively, lots of geeky little details and decorations. It does get pretty busy even on school nights, and they don’t take reservations so there have been times when the wait has been too long for us to stick around. Such a unique and fun atmosphere for the nerds. The drinks were fun and unique, I came during chartreuse week and loved the drinks on the menu. Look at Dalek joining us! Not much food options only snacks. Don’t come hungry. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
