They have a small menu of tapas, but as... read more Situated next to the Cathedral, Ca l’Oller is a pleasantly simple bar. The beer is cheap and you can sit inside or out. They have a small menu of tapas, but as we didn’t sample any I can’t comment. One thing I would say re service however, particularly as I seem to see regular reviews re people complaining about slow table service in various bars and restaurants, is that outdoor service here was quite slow. This is because there was only one bloke doing the lot. So and here’s the tip why don’t you simply go inside and order your drinks at the bar? You are guaranteed instant service, you beat the queue, and you can then choose whether to stay indoors or carry your drinks to an outdoor table. And and you won’t believe this really clever bit if you pay for your drinks when you order them, you don’t even have to wait later on for the bill! Simples really!
