Description
At a popular restaurant in Solon, diners experience a mixed bag of culinary delights and service disappointments. While the food, including standout dishes like buffalo cauliflower and unique pizzas, garners praise, service issues frequently overshadow the experience. Many have reported long waits for carryout and unfriendly staff interactions, detracting from the overall appeal. However, not all experiences are negative; some patrons have raved about exceptional service and tasty vegan meals in a warm atmosphere. This dichotomy leaves potential visitors unsure, with stellar food struggling against the backdrop of inconsistent service. Returning could be a gamble.

A few weeks ago, I visited one of the first restaurants in Solon. The atmosphere was pleasant, although there were only about six other guests there. I opted to sit at the bar, and my service was reasonably prompt. The bartender recommended a blueberry vodka drink, but it was nothing special. For an appetizer, I chose the calamari, which turned out to be mostly crumbs! I ordered the shrimp and grits without peppers, and it was just average—definitely not worth the price. When I tried to settle my bill, it took a while because the bartender was too busy chatting with her coworker about office gossip. Because of this experience, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this place.
I had the best vegan meal I've had in a long time. Lyndsay's energy and service were exceptional—so much so that I was able to overlook the echoing noise. I highly recommend this place!
Dietary Restrictions: The menu and chefs cater to all dietary preferences. Kid-Friendliness: Exceptionally welcoming and friendly towards our little ones.
The piece of salmon I received was disappointingly small for an entrée, served with a generous portion of plain rice. I asked for cauliflower but was given broccoli instead. The salmon lacked flavor and didn't come with lemon, which would have been a welcome addition. Overall, the meal felt bland and reminiscent of hospital food. The highlight of the evening was the pumpkin cheesecake, but we were surprised to find it had been warmed in the microwave. Why, we wondered, when we got it to go? It seems like there might be a new manager, and it doesn't feel like the new staff prioritizes customer satisfaction; rather, they seem more focused on maximizing profits. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. My last three meals have just gotten worse and worse.
The food is excellent, but the service leaves much to be desired. If you're ordering for pickup, make sure you allow an extra 15-20 minutes—assuming someone even acknowledges your presence at the front. If you ask for assistance, you might encounter some attitude from the staff. The carryout process is quite poor. I placed my order at 7:00 PM with a designated pickup time of 30 minutes, but I've now been waiting an additional 25 minutes. Hummus doesn't take long to prepare! Meal type: Other.
