We spotted a board advertising sardines outside Oasis and the garden looked so shady in fact almost a jungle so in we went. It gave the impression of being a bit scruffy and grubby and the poor old turtle's water looked disgusting. It would be very easy to walk in to the turtle's pond as it was quite hidden and in the middle of the seating area. We duly ordered the sardines and calamari and a couple of beers. The beer was ok. The food extremely average and the bread which we didn't order but ended up paying for was so stale you could have broken teeth on it. The chef appeared whilst we were there, after we had eaten unfortunately, and to say his chef's whites weren't would be an understatement. We would not recommend.

He took the time t... read more Had a lovely lunch here, before the main rush so possibly had better service than we might otherwise have done as the waiter was not so busy. He took the time to explain some of the local dishes to us and offered to make some vegetarian that were not usually as per the menu. The food was perfect for a light lunch with fairly small portions, which is what I expected based on the very reasonable prices. Some dishes were very well cooked, others a little less brilliant but not bad.
