We reserved a table which wasn’t ready. We sat on a wall bench for 30 mins before they decided to bring a table from inside for us. They then served both course... read more We reserved a table which wasn’t ready. We sat on a wall bench for 30 mins before they decided to bring a table from inside for us. They then served both courses straight away, the main coming immediately after our starter. We asked to wait between courses but they ignored this. The bread was dry and had obviously been cut and sitting there all night. The olives were very bitter and inedible, this is the first time we’ve experienced this. The mains arrived and my husband’s grilled squid was cold. The table next to us also returned cold food. My spinach crepe was bland and lacked seasoning. There was no salt and pepper on the table and all the staff had disappeared as I can only assume they’d finished serving food (hence our rushed service) so I was unable to ask for any. How Michelin is associated with this place is beyond me.

The highlight of a fine dinner was the main course of duck with raspberry sauce which will be talked about for years. It was perfectly cooked and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend.
