Where to start. Had read some reviews re ‘interesting’ service. Didn’t start well. Beer took ages to arrive. One ordered, two arrived we said; fine we’ll have it. We ordered a la carte with wine. Asked if we wanted wine. Hello? However, it only got better. Firstly, the location is stunning. Secondly, the ambiance excellent with a background musician (think pan pipes type stuff) and lots of candles, etc. Food excellent. Decent bottle of wine. Dessert. €110 which included water, bread, etc. They didn’t charge for the extra unordered beer. After the initial hiccup, the service was immaculate. Very enjoyable meal. We’d more than happily go again.
We booked a table by the edge of the terrace where we sat looking at the view of the beach. Lovely. We started with a glass of really good cava and had the set menu which absolutely delicious. We had scallop, gazpacho, fish and chocolate puds. All beautifully served and very tasty. Our waitress recommended a white wine which went well with all dishes. Very relaxing and enjoyable evening.
Undoubtedly one not to be missed. Set in a stunning location over looking the bay, the staff are super attentive and excel at first class customer service. Menu choice was wide and varied, and the food was delicious and excellent. The bonus for us was booking on a live music night which provided not only fabulous background music, but later dancing under the stars. Thank you! For the best and most memorable night of our holiday.
We arrived at the beautiful courtyard setting for dinner and were shown to our table straight away. Service was attentive and discreet. Our orders for wine and food were taken soon after we arrived and each dish arrived in perfect time. Between us we enjoyed feta cheese in filo, fennel salad, fish of the day ‘red snapper’, Mallorcan cheese and a chocolate festival! It was all presented beautifully and tasted delicious. We always try local wine and that didn’t disappoint. As we enjoyed our food we watched the sun go down on the port. The atmosphere was typical of the area, ambient, relaxed and beautiful. We have loved the rustic, simple dishes we’ve eaten around the port all week; Agapanto was a slightly different, fine dining style experience. I highly recommend it as a special evening together while staying in Port de Soller. Book a few days in advance to get a table.
