Only had a banana split. Only vanilla ice cream. A few slices of banana instead of a banana split in 2.

Have been to Sollerstuben a couple of times this summer, since it came under the new ownership.One of the former staff is still there most of the time, so service is still quite good, though I've yet to meet/see the new owner, I don't believe she is around very often.I've not eaten there yet, though my husband has and said, of the one dish he had, that the quality of the products was very good, though the presentation wasn't brilliant. To be fair, they have, of course, only been open a few months, so things won't be perfect straight away! I do like and prefer the white-washed walls, as they open out the interior and make it feel less cramped, though the retention of the wood, (though sandblasted to a much lighter colour), has helped it maintain some of the cosy, traditional feel.We will be visiting again and, also, probably eating there a few times in future. It's a pity that, apart from the, still lovely, welcome from the previous member of staff, that there won't be that feeling of being welcomed as 'true guests of the family' ...But so happy that the former owners, The Reiter Family (Harry, et al), are all now enjoying putting all their care, love and attention into the family home and Pension (hotel), Sonnenhof, in Soll. The family welcome is still maintained there, I can assure you! :)
