It’s worth passing the first restaurants the top of the Schaffau lifts to find this one. About 10 mins on, this large restaurant still manages to make its customers feel welcome. We visited several times with different servers each time and always had good service. The portions are big and good value for money. We shared a Tiroler Mixed dumpling... fantastic! I 'm sure it 's a fine place. But what I got was not what I expected when I ordered, and when they removed my full plate, the normal, how was everything? was missing. Maybe I should have been more confident in relating my dismay. Tiny slivers of slimy cold ham wasn 't what I was expecting when I got the sausage salad . The waitress wasn 't unfriendly. Had several meals here. Always welcoming and fast service. Lovely interior and amazing views. Food was tasty and generous. pricing fair.
My favourite restaurant on the mountain the food is exceptional in choice , variety, quality and value.Service is superb , location is amazing can't say enough about this place !!

Unusually for the locality, the coke was fizzy and the tap water was free (although served in disgustingly small glasses please sir, can I have some more).
We tried here different dishes and all were super good from the mushroom polenta with stew to the home-made cakes everything is amazing. If you are around is definitely worth trying it!
The service is friendly and helpfull and the food is good and enough. I was there in summer and winter and it's always a pleasure to come back
