Liam greeted and seated us, and promptly returned to serve us once we were settled. He was a pleasant and attentive young man throughout our visit. The Afternoon Tea was delightful, with the scones being a standout. The only criticism I have is that the sandwich fillings were not as great as we have had in other birthday teas.

The menu is quite diverse and shou... read more This restaurant has a slightly formal atmosphere with a traditional design featuring dark wood panels and tables set in rows. The menu is quite diverse and should cater to most tastes. However, what really sets this place apart are the exceptional staff, Olivia and Izzie, who are both very knowledgeable and friendly. They were very attentive to my wife's Soya allergy, recommending suitable options such as pasta and salmon fillet for her mains. I enjoyed the hot smoked salmon for my starter and a steak for my main course, both of which were deliciously prepared. The wine list is impressive with reasonable prices and some unique selections.

We didn't realize we could have just grabbed a bar meal, but the restaurant we chose was fantastic. The portions were a bit small, but the food was of excellent quality and reasonably priced. The bar prices were also reasonable.

Hot and plentiful with very helpful and smiley staff- its a pleasure to eat in there- thank you all.

The Arden Hotel was clearly sign posted which made locating the Burgundy Restaurant within the Arden Hotel and Leisure Club nice and easy. Plenty of parking spa... read more The Arden Hotel was clearly sign posted which made locating the Burgundy Restaurant within the Arden Hotel and Leisure Club nice and easy. Plenty of parking spaces, free for customers using the restaurant by validating the parking ticket at reception on the way out. The staff were all very welcoming, smartly presented and professional. Me and my friend went there for an afternoon tea experience which was given as a birthday gift. On our way into the restaurant we were greeted by Jane, who effortlessly catered to our every need, offering to take pictures of the both of us with our tea, clotted cream and scones, delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes. We both enjoyed all aspects of the visit, Janes added personal touches made it that little bit more special. I would highly recommend to anyone considering going in the future.
