Next, I had two tacos: one carnitas and one carne asada. The homemade tortillas were reasonably priced at $3.25, but the flavor was again just average—nothing to get excited about. For my main course, I ordered shrimp enchiladas, which were also underwhelming. The shrimp had no seasoning, and the red sauce was overly spicy, applied only to the tortillas and topped with plenty of fresh lettuce, onions, and cheese. While it looked impressive, it lacked flavor and was quite dry—just spicy without depth. I had to request guacamole, which came in another tiny bowl, and it was again just average. I left feeling full but disappointed. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but honestly, I couldn’t justify it. The best aspect of this restaurant is its reasonable prices; however, the food did not live up to the hype.

We went on Sunday afterno... read more We stopped here on our way back to Bay Area during our roadtrip. It's a small restaurant with indoor outdoor seatings and a small bar. We went on Sunday afternoon (around 1pm) and was seated immediately. We ordered fried tilapia, pambasos with beef,and guacamole. The free salsa was delicious and good amount of spiciness perfect compliment to the crispy chips. The lady whotook our order was kind enough to play Cocomelon to entertain for my kid. It took quite some times to get our food but we didn'tmind because everything tasted fresh good! The portions were big for the price. My hubby got the fried tilapia. The fish wascrispy and cooked perfectly. He liked the beans and said it was flavorful. He was super stuffed and had to take home half ofit. I never had pambasos before so I didn't really know what to expect. My pambasos was huge and filled with lots of filling.The bread was actually dipped in sauce and then grilled which made it super flavorful! The beef inside was chopped into smallpieces and yet so flavorful (and had a hint of smokiness). The sour cream brought brightness to the dish. I was also stuffed andhad to brought half home. The guacamole was good and fresh. Overall, it tasted authentic and a good restaurant when you're inthe area.
