I started with the chips and salsa, which came in a small bowl. The chips were cold, unsalted, and only average at best. Next, I had two tacos: one carnitas and one carne asada. The homemade tortillas were reasonably priced at $3.25, but the flavor was again just average—nothing to get excited about. For my main course, I ordered shrimp enchiladas, which were also underwhelming. The shrimp had no seasoning, and the red sauce was overly spicy, applied only to the tortillas and topped with plenty of fresh lettuce, onions, and cheese. While it looked impressive, it lacked flavor and was quite dry—just spicy without depth. I had to request guacamole, which came in another tiny bowl, and it was again just average. I left feeling full but disappointed. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but honestly, I couldn’t justify it. The best aspect of this restaurant is its reasonable prices; however, the food did not live up to the hype.
