What Shawn Tolbert dislikes about Subway:
I went to get a Subway Club, but they were out of turkey. I asked them to add extra ham instead, but that didn’t happen. When we got our drinks, they had no ice, and the Dr. Pepper was also out. I ended up spending over $30 on items they didn’t even have—completely ridiculous! I was really disappointed. I wish I had just gone to Jersey Mike's instead. View all feedback.
I visited this Subway location specifically because of their marketing for the new 12 subs on the menu and the promotion offering a free sub between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Upon entering, I noticed a sign stating they were not participating in the free sub offer. Considering this isn’t a very busy location, I would have expected them to take advantage of the marketing to attract new customers to try the new menu. Despite this, I accepted it and went to my car to grab a flyer with the latest Subway coupons. However, when I reached the register, the employee informed me that they don’t accept coupons. I found this quite frustrating. I understand that each Subway is independently owned and operated, but it seems counterproductive for a location not to embrace business generated by Subway’s corporate marketing efforts. The customer service and food were good, but this location DOES NOT ACCEPT COUPONS or PARTICIPATE IN SUBWAY CORPORATE PROMOTIONS. My lower rating is due to the unclear policy on coupons, which led to an uncomfortable experience at the register.
Sunday 6/26 at 12:30 PM. The staff was polite. A few comments for management: there was no unsweetened tea available. The young woman said I could get a bottled one, but all the bottled options were sweet tea. I convinced my husband to take the sweet tea I had already paid for, although he usually prefers unsweetened. He mentioned the sweet tea didn’t taste like brewed tea, but more like powder or concentrate—not very good. Additionally, the ladies’ bathroom was quite dark, with one of the lights above the toilet not working. The paper towel dispenser was loose and nearly falling off the wall.
When I walked in, I was welcomed with a friendly smile and a warm hello. The customer service was excellent, and the bread and food were very fresh. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through the area.
I keep trying to give this Subway a chance. Came here months ago where the employees were talking instead of serving customers. I was craving Subway today. Employees again talking about damaging the other’s car and who came to work first. Wanted meal deal with drink. Fountain drink not working. Always something at this Subway.
