What User doesn't like about J's Deli:
I was recommended to try this restaurant and didn't know what to expect. I went for dinner and found plenty of parking. It appeared to be a little gem of a place. Inside, I saw a variety of fresh deli meats. I was greeted by a friendly woman at the counter who explained the different options to me. The menu and various choices on the wall were impressive. I ordered the senior sandwich, which was delicious. The prices... View all feedback.
The sandwiches are amazing at j’s. the staff is very friendly, and j himself came by to thank us for this!

I have eaten js deli almost my whole life in cumberland. now unfortunately only the location smithfield remains. all their sandwiches are great. I'll give four stars because I picked up my sandwich last week. the prices rose to $14.03 after controlling for a sandwich. They're big, but I can eat the whole thing. because of the price I had the half to the lunch other half to dinner. besides being expensive, it is a large local deli, which was always a northern rhode Island dog. Many thanks for the years of the great sandwiches js, please stop them the price!
I spoke about sandwiches at work, and that was the NUR place I wanted to satisfy this demand. the graduate is the best.
Small and slightly strange location near or practically IN a gas station, don't let its humble appearance fool you. These are the same great sandwiches you have been getting at J's for years. If you haven't gotten a sandwich from J's, you really ought to give them a try just be sure to bring your appetite because the sandwiches are HUGE and packed. If you go with someone, and are able to agree on one of the dozens of options they have available, you could probably split one to make 2 reasonably portioned meals. For me, I was not here for reasonability. I was here for a cheat meal and all the calories. I got the Ring of Fire and the Blondie for dessert. The Ring of fire was packed full of meat and dressed with Buffalo sauce and Ranch (if I remember correctly). It was tasty, but for a similar experience that is kicked up a notch, I'd suggest going for The Graduate. The blondie was delightful. Think chocolate chip cookie with an oreo filling and you are getting close to the flavor profile. The staff was kind and courteous, and service was speedy in the face of a pretty big crowd in a small space. My one qualm would be that the music was far too loud. Other than that? A great place for a casual lunch that is a step above fast food.
